“Trust Me, My child,” He says. “Trust Me with a fuller abandon than you ever have before. Trust Me, as minute succeeds minute, every day of your life, for as long as you live. And if you become conscious of anything hindering our relationship, do not hurt Me by turning away from Me. Draw all the closer to Me, come, run to Me. Allow Me to hide you, to protect you, even from yourself. Tell Me your deepest cares, your every trouble. Trust Me to keep My hand upon you. I will never leave you. I will shape you, mold you, and perfect you. Do not fear, O child of My love, do not fear. I love you.”

Dinners turn cold, we kiss goodbye often, we fail to communicate, sometimes bitterness grows in the heart, but we learn to forgive and are stubborn enough to keep each other.
We see friends come and go and wonder how we’ll possibly make it without those sweet friends holding us together.
We move and are forced into new places that don’t always fit us, and with all the stretching we feel that at any moment we’ll break.
When they are away nothing feels normal at first and yet as the months pass this strange new normal sets in. We figure out how to function without those boots near the front door and we continue to love on our babies and meet with our friends and move forward one step at a time.
We ignore the comments that hurt and let ourselves have a good cry once in awhile.
We live with hope in our hearts because we have a high king in heaven who is sovereign over our lives.
..because it was Him that called us, believing we could be used for his glory right where we are.
With all of your needs often going unmet by that man you love, our friends, and family we remember the one who is our all in all. That we have to understand others weren’t called to meet our needs, and that in Christ we can live fulfilled, lacking nothing.
“My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”
~Philippians 4:19~
We can thrive as godly woman in the midst of one of the hardest lifestyles as military spouses.
Last night I felt completely drained after saying goodbye to two of my dearest friends.
They have meant so much to me this last year and through one last hug my friend spoke through the tears of God’s truth and love.
I came home and went to a small corner where my bible lay on the table and I bowed my head down and begged God to comfort an achy heart. ..and as I read, he came near.
Because that’s what he will do in our relationships with Him. He will care for us, he’ll allow us to be stretched but he will always supply us with what we need when we come to Him.
Apart from God there isn’t much hope and that’s why I’m thankful that I can bring to you a message of truth every time I come back to share with you.
Dear one, Ask Him today to be your provider too.
Praying hard for you as you live day-to-day with so much uncertainty but always remember we can be certain of our Savior.
