Hey Laura!
I stumbled across your blog today through Pinterest, and just wanted to say “Thank You.”
Thank you for combining God’s word with everyday circumstances!
I am a young, soon-to-be Air Force Wife.
I am grateful for this blog, and look forward to new posts
When times get tough and my impatience is running high, I pray or cry. But, reading others soothing words or advice (especially from a Christian view point)
has helped me so much on this journey so far!
With love in Christ,
Jennifer N.
I love receiving sweet comments like this!
What an encouraging note to read this evening.
Jennifer, I will be praying for you as you enter into this new role as a military spouse! It’s an adventure with ups and downs but God will use it to mold you. (I try to keep this in mind when my heart is breaking) I love that even though we’re stretched God also allows seasons for rest. Anyways, I hope that things are going well for you now and thank you for reading!
Laura
Hello,
My name is Kayla and I’m not a military wife. However my boyfriend is trying to join the Coast Guard and I have some questions that I need insight on.
1.) How often, on average, will he be gone on base?
2.) What can I expect for our future?
3.) What if I need help at home (in an emergency) and he is gone but I still need him. Do I just call him up? Is that even aloud?
4.) I am right now a college student and when I am done will need a job. Will the military help me find a job? If we move around a lot how do I find a new job all the time?
I am very nervous and anxious about the whole thing but I support him all the way. I just need guidance and moral support.
Sincerely,
Slightly Stressed Out, Kayla
