The other morning I went to write a blog post and I couldn’t login to the website.
I confirmed it was really down and not an internet connection problem. Then I started to brainstorm what could be wrong.
I thought, ‘Wow! There was soo much traffic to the latest post that it crashed the website!’ Ha-Ha
It was announced the problem was at the website that hosts this one.
The Lord humbles me daily if my head gets too big. I’m thankful for that and smile about it a lot.
We had a really quiet evening with Darren’s family as we waited to celebrate the new year. How can it be 2014?!
They even pulled out the party poppers for us!

This picture was too cute! Garrett is always on the go and it’s rare to snatch him away for moments like these.
I enjoyed reading and drinking Coca-Cola yesterday! It’s nice to splurge from time to time but after the Holidays I’m ready to care again about what I’m eating and drinking! ![]()
*Also I wanted to extend a prayer request for a dear friend.
When we first moved to Virginia I was expecting Garrett and he was born soon after. With family far away I was learning how to be a new mom without them and one person that came along-side me was Megan. She came to my house and taught me how to nurse my baby when I was in a panic because he wasn’t figuring it out. She helped calm my nerves. (Did I mention she is a nurse?) Throughout our time in Virginia, Megan was a solid friend who could speak truth into my life when I needed it most.
When I found out her husband was in the hospital with pneumonia, my heart dropped.
The oxygen wasn’t helping and he wasn’t responding well to the medicine. He is requiring further breathing help through intubation and the situation is very critical.
Will you pray for Tony’s health, Megan (who announced the other day that they are expecting their second child), and their sweet little girl.
Thank you friends!
Laura

Done and done sending prayers — and will continue to send prayers until Tony is healed.
Sounds like you guys had a great New Year’s with family! Nice to be catching up that way, huh! Glad to hear those attachments are reconnecting in all the fun ways too!
Happy New Year, Moore Family!
