Recently I have been studying the book of Daniel and finding a lot of answers to questions I’ve had about the end of this world. Towards the end of the book we’re able to read where He writes about biblical prophecy for the end times. He had a series of dreams that revealed visions of what is to come for this world. (Some of it is already history to us but for Daniel it was all to take place in the future)
It’s been really interesting and I’m learning quite a bit. He must have been terrified seeing all that he did because he writes;
And there it ended. I, Daniel, was in shock. I was like a man who had seen a ghost.. Daniel 7:28
As much as I’d love to spill over here what I have learned in more detail, I’m not finding the right words.
I have tried two times before this and ended up side-tracked wondering if I could have said something better. I’m giving myself permission to process all that i’m learning before I qualify myself to share about anything.
However, I really recommend that you too dig into this scripture. It’s very interesting and it’s an opportunity to spend with God so how can that be bad? I also have listened to a few sermons on this by Charles Swindoll. {He is my favorite Bible teacher and has taught me how to really love God’s word.}

I love to learn.
This last weekend I spent a good portion of time researching the NASA program. I dug into our history and am fascinated by what our Astronauts accomplished in a short period of time.
How scary that must have been to ride a rocket far above solid ground, completely unsure if you would survive.
The men who went first were very brave and I enjoyed hearing their stories. We watched a few videos about the different missions and I sat amazed.
It’s neat to catch a glimpse of our Earth from their seat and hear what they had to say when they first saw it for themselves. Not only the earth but also the moon and space from that perspective.
One of the astronauts spent a little too much time looking around, in awe, and almost found himself in big trouble but he said it was incredible and couldn’t help it. God created something bigger than what we can comprehend and they caught a glimpse of that. I’m only slightly jealous!
When they did an episode on the few missions that did go very wrong it was heartbreaking. Ronald Reagan offered such kind words, and at the time were probably such a comfort to people on the day of the Challenger disaster. It was a very sad event in our history and the history of the NASA program. It was still very informative to learn a little more about how our space program began and it will be neat to see what happens in the next 50 years!

Let me tell you…I have been cleaning for days straight with no break. No weeks!
Let’s blame the winter and also a small child of mine. Seriously, I never thought that motherhood would mean cleaning this much!
It’s crazy but it seems that from the time I wake up to the time we all go to bed, I am picking up something.
Here is after I combed his crazy out-of-control hair and demanded he pose for a picture. He wasn’t amused! But I sure was. : )
I look forward to warmer months and time outdoors for Garrett! He has cabin fever but has handled it well. Well, enough for a little boy cooped up inside day after day.
We’re thankful for church and when our friends invite us out or the occasional trip to the store.
Warmer days have us racing fast for our snow gear. Garrett loves playing in the snow and it’s something fun for all three of us!
He has loved riding in his sled and we’ve been known to give him a sled ride through the house. That’s always a blast!
I leave you with this..my absolute favorite! I look at this picture and see the pure joy and it melts my heart. I hope you’re having a week that causes you to smile this way on the inside or out!
