My favorite moment these days has been opening the blinds in the kitchen.
I love how the sunlight beams across the kitchen as I sip coffee in the warmth of it all.

What makes it even better is taking a seat before God as I read His word.  Even on the mornings I’d rather not, it never fails to bring me closer to the Lord.

This morning when I looked out the window there was a flag being whipped by the wind and I smiled.  I love that mornings like this are possible.  I don’t have to hide my faith or attend church in secret thanks to the men and women that serve(d) in the military.

I’m thankful for a God that loves us beyond what the human mind can comprehend.

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us”
