The last few months I’ve been making my way through a new Bible with 90 Days of Encouragement for military wives. Zondervan sent me a copy of this bible to review and share with you! I’m selective with the giveaways on this blog but I thought some of you would really enjoy having God’s word along with a devotional written by other military wives who can relate to our unique circumstances.
There is a feature called, Home Front Heroes that I absolutely love! Learning about History is fascinating to me and i’ve enjoyed learning about the military spouses of the past. At the very end a few military wive’s shared their favorite hymns and there’s also a short ‘Basic Training’ bible study to work through.
It’s a wonderful resource for the military spouse to draw encouragement from. I truly enjoyed this New Testament!
If you’re interested in purchasing one they are running a special.

Love the idea!!! I will have to check the book out!
I’m a new military wife, and have moved half way across the world (from Australia to the States!) to be with my American husband! I think this take on the new testament would be really beneficial to me – will definitely have a look!
Kim!
You are so brave and I hope that you find a comfort in the states. I know it probably won’t feel like home but i’m praying you’ll find sweet friends and a great community to be a part of. I can’t imagine all you’re dealing with but know you’re being prayed for!
I really did enjoy reading through these devotionals for the military wife given our unique circumstances. I needed the encouragement.
Laura
Oh Laura, thank you – that was so sweet! I am adjusting, it’s mainly missing family and friends back in Australia that is hitting me. I think once I have settled in a little more and have a friend network here then it will be great. Just gotta have faith!
I have really enjoyed reading your blog, I stumbled across the post you had about loneliness first — and it was so useful to me!
