I take Joy, written by Sally Clarkson is a wonderful wonderful place!
It’s written by a wise woman who loves God and her family deeply.
Whenever I finish reading something by Sally I think of Titus 2:3-5
3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
I need to be pointed to Jesus and Sally does this well as she steps out of the spotlight and invites Jesus to stand in.
I’m beyond thankful for her example of what it means to love those in my life.
You’ll be encouraged through her words.
As a mom who feels desperate sometimes for encouragement I am looking forward to reading her new book (co-author with the wonderful Sarah Mae)
It comes out January 8th! I know this one will be great :).
